A1 Infinity2MYOB Interface

A1Infinity2MYOB® is a product developed by A1 Software Solutions to provide a valuable accounting link between Infinity® and MYOB®® Accounting systems.

The system has been designed to extract data from Infinity® Point of Sale software and convert this data into MYOB®® transactions.

Interface Features

• ability to extract data from Infinity® for a particular date or date range

• logically generated journals

• uses Infinity® Department codes to classify generated transactions  - a summary of transactions is generated for each department for each day of data imported

• uses each Infinity® Media type to classify payments

• generates transactions affecting Debtors control accounts in MYOB®

The system uses a Read Only SQL Server link to connect to the Infinity® database to extract data.  Information extracted can be reviewed prior to exporting to MYOB®. Any errors encountered are logged into an Error logging system.

MYOB® must be installed on the computer running the interface, but users are not required to use manual processes within MYOB® to import the data.

Interface Options

The interface has export options allowing you to include:

• Stock Adjustments  - import stock adjustments and stock take information

• Import Purchase Orders / Receipts directly into MYOB® Purchases

• Automated run - set the interface to unattended mode for overnight processing - come in next day and your data is transferred to MYOB®

Information required for GL Department mapping  are GL Income account, GL Expense (COGS) and Inventory Accounts as well as GL Inventory Variance for Adjustments.	Reason codes are also mapped for Till / Shortages and stock write offs.

As both MYOB and Infinity undergo changes we have a Yearly Maintenance agreement to maintain this interface with your versions of the products.
